REPORTS | catalog mgmt |
DEFINITION: Catalog Production displays information necessary to produce a print catalog.
THIS REPORT SHOWS:
This report shows one record for each class, which means, if a class has the same name but is offered at a different time, it is considered a different class and will be listed on the report as a record. The report will have all the data elements to publish in a catalog. This report will only supply active or confirmed classes and will not show classes that are not current. Thus, to prevent 'dead' classes from showing up in the catalog. Typically, staff runs the catalog extract and gives the data to those producing the catalog.

Note: Catalog Production II - This report is the same as Catalog Production, however, it uses software formats to match the export. This report handles multiple classes for the same course where Catalog Production does not.
A number of our schools use Catalog Production II when working with Qwark's "Xdata" and/or InDesign's "InData". You may want your print services group to check out http://www.emsoftware.com/products/xdata/. |
