Cash Activity

DEFINITION: Cash Activity displays information about transactions that use Cash as a Payment/Refund Method.

THIS REPORT SHOWS:

• This report shows cash payment totals and student's name for a specific date range.  

• The  report displays cash activity by:

• • Date & Transaction type (payment/refund)

  • Daily Totals

  • Overall Activity Total

A/R Inclusion:

• Include ONLY registration transactions - this means the report contains only cash payments and/or cash refunds from the registration process during the dates elected, and does not contain any data from accounts receivable.

• Include payments to A/R Account balances - this means the report contains all cash payments and cash refunds from the registration process AND all the cash payments applied to accounts receivable.

• Include ONLY Payments to A/R Account balances - this means the report contains only cash payments applied to accounts receivable.  No data from registration will be found in this section.

Most institutions will accept cash as payment but will not use cash to refund.  Many institutions will issue a check refund back to the student who paid cash.  

View Transaction Detail:

This receipt will go to the student displaying all the class titles and information for the student's records.
