Add a Company Profile

The company profile is the entity in which classes are going to be rendered for. Entering companies into the system will be the first step in the Contract Training process.

 

 

Note: When a user makes changes in an edit page, Lumens will require that the page be update with the new changes before another user may make changes to the same page. If another user accesses the edit page before it has been updated, Lumens will not allow the second user's changes to be submitted until the page is refreshed.

 

 

 

 

  1. Click Contract Training, Companies.

  2. Click Add.

 

Definition of Terms

  • User name and password must be assigned by a staff member when they create the account. A user name must be unique. Different companies can have the same password, though this is discouraged for security reasons. Lumens will not reveal company passwords.

  • Password hint can be up to 50 characters.

  • Company name is the company name as it appears on lists, rosters, and reports.

  • Find Classes By allows users to choose either Courses Menu or Courses Search.

  • May Add Slim Profiles can be selected either as Yes or No depending on the user requirements.

  • Phone type, phone number and extension must be entered in this format, xxx-xxx-xxxx including dashes.  The system will not auto-populate the format.  An extension can be 7 characters long and can be entered only if there is a corresponding phone number.  You must choose a phone type for each phone number you enter.

  • Company E-mail functions as a general contact address for the company. Enter only valid email addresses, including an @ sign.  DO NOT enter your own email address or fake email address.

  • Staff Member Contact E-mail. This email address receives all Lumens generated emails for the company's activity.

  • Internal comments are displayed on the company profile screen only.   Only staff can view internal comments.

  • Approved Training Type field allows user in aligning an Approved Training Type that a company is interested in.

  • NAICS Code Label stands for North American Industry Classification System. It is a nationally recognized system which is used for the identification of the industry sector of which the company is a part of.

 

You cannot add Company users or divisions until a company profile has been created.  Once the profile is created, you can go back into the profile by using the edit button.
