Late Registration

Late registration allows staff to “retroactively” register a student for a class that has already run. In order for a class to be marked as “run,” and be eligible for late registration, it must be confirmed using the Go/ No Go report.

 

  1. Click REGISTRATION, Student Management or STUDENTS, Student Management.

  2. Type in last name or a part of the last name and part of first name, click Search.

  3. Find the name, click arrow in drop-down box.

  4. Click Late Registration.

 

 

A screen will appear similar to the one below.

 

 

  1. Lumens will display a list of classes that are available for late registration. You can search for the class either by Course Name or Course Number. If the class is on the display, click the checkbox next to the class or classes for which you want to register.

  2. Click Add to My Shopping Cart.

 

You can also process late registration for a Course Series:

 

  1. Select either REGISTRATION - student management or STUDENTSstudent management.

  2. A list of students appears. Locate the student by using the Search feature or by browsing for the student using the <<previous and next>> links at the bottom of the display.

  3. Find the student matching the search criteria and select Late Registration from the drop-down list in the Action column.

  4. In the Late Registration screen, click the Series Late Registration link.

  5. In the Late Registration for Course Series screen, check the box next to the desired course series.

  6. Click Add to My Shopping Cart.

 

Classes and Course Series are eligible for late registration up to a set number of days after they have run. The number of days that a class is eligible for late registration after it has run is set up during initial Lumens site setup.
