Record Financial Aid Payment

For students who are granted financial aid, Lumens has a tracking device for the allocation of funds.  There are two ways to get to the Financial Aid screen: 1) Program, Student Activity, Assign Financial Aid; 2) Programs, Financial Aid. Each time a Funding Sources are edited and allocated to the Payment Periods, a new record is archived and viewable.

 

  1. Click PROGRAMS, financial aid.

  2. Enter the last name in the text box and click Search.

  3. Click record payment.

 

 

Enter the payment into the appropriate fields.  The amount placed in the Student Payment text box also needs to be appropriated in the Record Student Payment Allocation screen.  

 

      4.  Click continue.

The Record Student Payment Allocation screen will appear. The appropriated amounts need to add up to the same amount of the Student Payment.

 

 

Type in the values and allocation the payment to the outstanding field balances.

       5.  Click continue to obtain summary page.
