The role of Funding Sources is to provide program administrators with the means to record payment assignment and collection to all entities that fund a portion of the students' program registration cost.
Program Administrators allocate how much money each funding source is responsible for during each phase of the program through the Financial Aid module.
Program Administrators assign payment due dates for each funding source through Program Section Payment Periods.
Program Administrators utilize reports to view balances and collect payments from funding sources and students.
Funding Sources can be created at any time and only needs to be created one time. Federal grants and loans should be created for each academic year.
